IATL Advisory Board Member, Constantin Chiriac, receives the ISPA Angel Award 2024

The IATL is proud to announce that Professor Constantin Chiriac, President of Sibiu International Theatre Festival – FITS, General Manager of the Radu Stanca National Theatre in Sibiu and IATL Advisory Board Member has received the 2024 Angel Award at International Society for the Performing Arts – ISPA’s 75th Anniversary Awards for his visionary leadership in creating and developing FITS.

As a distinguished theatre leader, Constantin Chiriac is also Director of the Sibiu Performing Arts Market and founder of the Sibiu Walk of Fame, of the School of Theatre and Cultural Management at the “Lucian Blaga” University in Sibiu, and of the Association “Sibiu European Capital of Culture 2007”. He is a professor at the “Lucian Blaga” University in Sibiu, he has lectured around the globe, and has received honorary doctorates from important universities worldwide.

We sincerely congratulate Professor Chiriac for this distinction offered by ISPA, one of the most dynamic organisations in the entire field of performing arts, remarkably led by David Baile.
