IATL and EFA: uniting theatre leaders and festivals in Europe and beyond

The IATL is honoured to announce its official partnership with the prestigious European Festivals Association [EFA] – the most important platform dedicated to arts festivals in Europe and beyond. Founded in 1952, EFA represents more than one hundred prominent organisations, amongst which: Edinburgh International Festival, BBC Proms, Athens Epidaurus Festival, Holland Festival, Manchester International Festival, Gdansk Shakespeare Festival, Berliner Festspiele, etc. The signed MOU marks a significant step towards facilitating a more effective dialogue between theatre leaders and festival organizers across the globe, while promoting a deeper understanding of cultural diversity.

Together, IATL and EFA are committed to nurturing a vibrant arts ecosystem that transcends borders, defies political constraints and enriches communities worldwide through the unique power of the human spirit. Members of both organizations will have access to a wealth of joint resources, including workshops, seminars, and collaborative projects designed to enhance the performing arts landscape.
