IATL at China Shanghai Performing Arts Fair [SPAF]

IATL proudly participated in the prestigious China Shanghai Performing Arts Fair [SPAF], showcasing our commitment to enhancing global collaboration and innovation within the theatre community. This year’s edition brought together a diverse array of artists, producers, and theatre professionals from around the world, creating a vibrant platform for exchange and inspiration. During SPAF, IATL members from over 20 countries were involved in a series of engaging panel discussions and workshops featuring prominent figures in theatre leadership. These sessions facilitated meaningful conversations about the future of the performing arts, addressing contemporary challenges while celebrating the values of culture, between East and West. Alongside major organisations such as International Society for the Performing Arts [ISPA] and European Festivals Association [EFA], IATL’s presence highlighted a joint dedication to supporting artistic leadership and outlined the transformative power of theatre.
