IATL was part of the Sibiu Performing Arts Market [SIPAM], an associated structure of FITS, aimed at providing the context for the promotion of artistic projects and establishing collaborations, as well as for sharing and learning the most recent information in the field of performing arts.

Alicia Adams, Vice President of International Programming and Dance at The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and IATL Advisory Board Member, was the keynote speaker of the panel Building Strategic Alliances Within Local Markets and Global Networks at SIPAM, together with Anthony Sargent, International Artistic Advisor, former Chair of the International Society for Performing Arts [ISPA] and IATL Member. The session highlighted the fact that a dynamic global cultural arena relies on strategic alliances, artistic innovation, audience engagement, and financial sustainability. Shinah Kim, President of the Hwaseong City Cultural Foundation and IATL Member, participated in a special panel dedicated to Cultural Heritage Tourism as a Catalyst of Innovative Technology, focusing on how arts investments boost cultural tourism and local economic development.

We are delighted that, following the active participation at SIPAM events, over 30 distinguished theatre leaders representing structures such as Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts [RADA], Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society, Festival Off Avignon, Fondazione Morra, Leeds Beckett University, China Shanghai International Arts Festival, Emilia Romagna Teatro Fondazione or Alden International Theatre Festival have joined IATL. We are looking forward to developing projects together, all around the world!
