AI in the Performing Arts Conference

Continuing its tradition of 21 years as a platform dedicated to influential conversations, the New Drama Festival included the Artificial Intelligence in the Performing Arts Conference, which brought together artists, scientists, legal experts, and digital technologists. They all explored one of the most pressing questions of our time: how is AI reshaping the world of theatre? Hosted by Professor Octavian Saiu, President of IATL, the conference fostered a vital interdisciplinary dialogue on the implications, possibilities and limitations of using AI, while highlighting the need of critical reflection on the true meaning and future of creativity in the performing arts.
