Join the International Alliance of Independent Theatre – IAIT

Independent performing arts companies, festivals, and artist groups from all over the world are invited to join the International Alliance of Independent Theatre [IAIT], an IATL project © 2025! IAIT will unite 53 visionary independent entities aiming to foster collaboration, co-productions, shared funding opportunities, and the launch of the International Independent Theatre Award.

Those wishing to become founding members are invited to send their portfolio, brief history, and development plan to iait@theatreleaders.org, until November 15.

The selected members will be announced in December 2025, during the Official Opening of Grivita 53 in Bucharest – a symbolic moment celebrating independence and creativity in theatre, through theatre, and beyond.
